IMMEX Program
A foreign company can take advantage of savings under the IMMEX program by operating under the non-incorporated option through a shelter’s legal entity.
The IMMEX program offers favorable tax benefits to companies that manufacture in Mexico.
This program, combined with VAT certification, allows foreign manufacturers to temporarily import raw materials and delay or avoid payment of VAT with the stipulation that finished goods be mainly exported (directly or indirectly) out of Mexico within a government mandated timeframe.
